Home is where the heart is

Today's efforts were conducted to try to shed some light on a resort (well, one of a few resorts) that almost never sees any exposure. The Homestead itself is a high class resort, mostly focused on golfing and other luxuries. The ski area that they operate is low-key however, which is a shame since they have been operating for over 50 years. I grew up riding there many moons ago, and the place hasnt changed a bit since. It has that old local hill feel to it, and I can't say that I really want that to change.

Anyway, we shot some video today. Coinscidentally, todays stills will also be from the footage, because nick left the camera behind. The park today was way less than par- cut them a good bit of slack though as they just picked up 2" of warm rain a few days ago. Hope to get back up there when conditions are better.

A short vid of today's 2 hour session will be up soon. Holla.

Construction

Twas last night about 11pm that I finally found the initiative to build a rail that I had been contemplating for weeks. Not too hard of a build- completed with 3 2x4's and a 4" diameter pvc pipe. Resulting in fourteen feet of sliding pleasure as shown below.

Rail inventory...

Now to do something with all this snow.........

Tline Rail Jam 2

Rail Jam number 2 at Timberline Resort near Davis, Wv. coming up on Saturday Jan. 30th... We will be there if we can make it up... but if not then I guess we'll be shreddin pow or hittin urban somewhere. But the comps at Timberline are really fun and chill, the only pressures are what you put on yourself. No annoying annoucers, just good tunes and good friends shralping. So try to go and check it out.

Im not getting my hopes up but looky here... we could be experiencing another big dump at the end of this week... Party hardy?

Read the story here, directly from App.

That weekend is gonna be action packed, as for February 5th, they are planning on holding Fresh Friday #3.

Weekend Wars.

With MLK weekend in full effect, we decided to have a nice slope side grill out. The grill provided food for friends and a nice atmosphere in Mountaineer terrain park. I only got a few pics because somehow I was deemed grill master even though sir Ryan is the culinary king and king of the sofa.

"Hey is that a grill?" No...

The fellas.

Ryan is happy to be grillin.
