Jan. 7th - Big Boulder TransAm registration begins.

Jan. 8th - WV Open at Snowshoe Mtn.
- Timberline Rail Jam #1.
Jan. 14th - Burton Friday Night Rail Jam #1 at Wisp.
Jan. 15th - Eastern Snowboard League Stop #1 at Holiday Valley.
Jan. 22nd - TransAm at Big Boulder
Jan. 29th - Timberline Rail Jam #2.

Spring Break.

2010 West Virginia Open

Snowshoe Mtn's only event this year is being held Saturday March 13th. Apparently, this season's WV Open is to be held as a slopestyle event, rather than the rail jam format of previous years. A few months ago, I was told this event was going to be "reinvented" and brought back up to be the most prestigious event in the region again. So with that said, they have downed the top prize money from $2000 to $500 for the top skier and snowboarder divisions. Seems reinvented to me.

And maybe I am wrong, it seems to be a race this year...
