App Opening Delayed.

Sadly, as the title says, Appalachian Ski Mtn's Opening Day this Friday, November 19th has been postponed until snowmaking temperatures return to the region. The Rome Premature Jibulation competition planned for Sunday, November 21st will also be postponed until Sunday, December 5th, which happens to be App's Anniversary Weekend where lift ticket prices cost $5!

Postponed.

This Sunday's event at App has been postponed due to the expected heavy rainfall and flash flooding. Don't worry, they actually reschedule their events, and follow through with having them. So the new date for App Ski Mtn's Red Bull Buttercup is February 6th.

That weekend is gonna be action packed, as for February 5th, they are planning on holding Fresh Friday #3.

As of exactly 7 minutes ago, a fisheye, along with the trendy camcaddie have both been ordered. As for the lens, its coming from Hong Kong, so look for it to impact our videos in march... (kidding, hopefully).

In other news, our weekend plans seem to have taken shape. Down south to App for Fresh Fridays #2, then back up to Timberline for Rail Jam #1. Then probably chill saturday night with some friends and hit snowshoe on sunday for some easy ridin. But yeah, typical wintertime business. Challenging to find time to get footage imported and edits up, but fear not. Look for a little somethin within the next few days.

And the whale will look nearly double the size as in the pics below by tomorrow.

The weekend looks somethin like this...

Snowshoe is finally opening up this saturday!!! We'll be there for sure. They are hoping to have trails at Snowshoe and Silver Creek goin, meaning night riding. Also they are gonna try to get some features out on Spruce Glades. Gonna be great riding a lift again, I've missed all the relaxing, funny, and awkward times.



And if Snowshoe isn't epic on saturday(they may get some powpow but maybe not), then sunnyday will be spent at App! Sunday is there opening day and they have five dolla lift tickets on wickets and Rome's pre-jibby. App has the best terrain park in the South, in my opinion, so it is gonna be a good day.
